Hello Christopher and Nick,
Just wanted to let you know that the car arrived in fantastic shape. The new rubber strips and tires look 'natural', and thanks for the cover. As I was still on a plane returning from Taipei when the truck arrived, Pat took care of meeting Ted, the driver, watching him nervously as he unloaded the baby and then had him drive the car to our home. She was quite impressed with with Ted.
When I arrived home, the car was parked in its stall and Pat was waiting for me with a bottle of champagne. We sat and stared and celebrated our new family member. Our oldest son said, "Dad, you own a piece of design history!"
Thanks, again, for making this purchase enjoyable. I still have much to learn about the car and am looking forward to some sunny Sunday short drives.
