In 2022, Newport Motors addressed the braking system, shifting, and fuel systems. The scope included replacing the brake master cylinder, brake fluid, wheel cylinders, shift coupler bushings, shift shaft seal, throttle linkage components, and brake hoses.
A new handbrake cable was installed, the front wheel bearings were repacked, and the oil pump gasket and fuel pump gasket were replaced, totaling over $3,900
