This highly original Porsche 914/6 was completed at the factory in June 1970 and shipped to Florida where it was sold new. Documents on file indicate it was later registered in Nevada, then purchased for a well-known 914 collection in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1994. Once placed in the collection in 1994, it would remain there until 2020 when it was sold to European Collectibles. Once in our shop, all mechanical systems were gone through, and a detailed inspection was carried out. The Adriatic Blue paintwork is in excellent original condition with meter readings below 5 mil everywhere except for the hood, which we believe has been repainted. All other paint on the car appears to be factory original and in excellent shape for being so. All glass and exterior trim are also original and in very good condition and fitting quite well. The 15 x 6” Fuchs alloy wheels wear nearly new 185/70 HR 15 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The black interior appears as close to new as can be given the age. The 2.0L flat six-cylinder engine, number 6405447, matches factory build records and feels like it makes every bit of the factory rated 125 PS horsepower. There's no doubt in our mind that mileage indicated, 25,605, is the car's total mileage, but unfortunately, we don't have the documents to prove it. This is an excellent running and driving 914/6 in a fantastic original color.
